March at Glendevon.
March has been very cold and snowy, but very beautiful. The log cabin is very comfortable and cosy. Retirement is great. It is wonderful to do what you want when you want.
Our plans are going well for our trip to Europe. We leave Scotland on 10th April and after camping in various places and visiting Robbie, Emily and Arran in Manchaster, and also Jamie's family in Bath we leave England by ferry from Portsmouth to Caen on 13 th May.

Christmas and New Year.
Over Christmas and New Year we travelled with Cicely first to Bury, near Manchester to visit Robbie, emily and Arran. The site that we stayed on was fantastic and although the weather was very cold we were cosy inside Cicely.
We then went on to Bath to spend Christmas with Jamie and family. It was Aoife's first Christmas. Hamish and Aoife had a ball.
In January we took the ferry to Belfast. First we stayed the night with Alison and Cecil in Troon.
We spent two weeks in Ireland for Aoife's Christening in Ballymacoda and my 60th birthday in Dublin.

Getting on the road.
We collected our 5th wheel in early November. We were delighted with it. As you can see it is very large ( but then again so are we).
Our first trip was down to the Lake District to visit our new daughter-in-law who was in hospital. We are pleased to say that she is well again and after three months off work she is back teaching.
When we were with Robbie and Emily, Ian asked Arran for a good name for the 5th wheel. To our surprize he said - CICELY!!
So begins Cicely's Travels.............
